For one-doctor clinics
An EMR for solo doctors and independent practitioners in the Philippines
Hospital systems are built for institutions with IT departments. A one-doctor clinic still has a front desk — you and your secretary both need to be in the record, and neither of you has time to fight the software.
Built around how a small clinic actually runs
A solo practice does not have a records department, an IT team or a budget for per-seat licensing. What it has is a secretary, a queue of patients, a logbook that is getting harder to search, and a doctor who would rather not spend the evening writing up charts.
DokTema has been in daily use in a one-doctor clinic since 2016. Everything on this page is in the product today — there is no enterprise tier where the useful parts live.
It runs entirely in a browser, so there is no server in the clinic and nothing to install — how the cloud side works.
- Your secretary is included, not an upgrade A solo plan comes with a secretary account at no extra cost. They work the queue, register patients and upload files, while clinical notes stay read-only on their side.
- Your own instance, not a shared database Your clinic runs on its own system. Your patient records are not pooled with other clinics’.
- Set up personally, not self-service Your instance is prepared before you log in for the first time. On Full, that includes your letterhead with PRC and PTR numbers and your signature, ready to print.
- Nothing to install or maintain It runs in a browser on whatever you already have — desktop at the clinic, phone at the front desk.
- One flat monthly price, however many patients No limit on patient records and no per-patient charge, so the bill does not grow as your files do. No per-seat licensing, no per-document charge, no payment-processing cut.

A full day’s work, start to finish
Not a cut-down version of a hospital system — the documents a private clinic issues every day, generated from the visit and printed on your letterhead.
Patient queue
Walk-ins and follow-ups in one list, searchable by name or number, with shared quick notes for the clinic.
Visits and notes
You choose SOAP or HPI when your clinic is set up, with past medical and social and family history fields if you use them.
Vitals and measurements
BP, HR, RR, temperature and SpO2, plus height, weight, waist and circumferences. BMI is computed for you.
Files and results
PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP and HEIC. Snap a multi-page result page by page and they merge into one PDF.
Lab trends
Track the values you care about with units and reference ranges, one dated column per result.
Diagram annotation
Drop numbered markers on a diagram and type a note for each one. Saved with the visit.
What it costs a one-doctor clinic
Basic is ₱1,000 a month and covers patient records, notes and the queue — enough to stop using a paper logbook. Full is ₱1,500 a month and adds prescriptions, medical certificates and lab requests, which is where most solo clinics end up.
Both include the 7-day free trial, and neither has a contract or a setup fee. If you later take on a second doctor, multi-doctor access is a one-time fee and your monthly price does not change.

DokTema has been part of my clinic’s daily workflow for years. It doesn’t try to change how we do things. It just makes everything smoother. It is fast, simple, and reliable.
